The human mind tries to find complex solutions to the simple
problems. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
The statement in
question may be a trait of psychology. It is always said that humans themselves
make things difficult for them – maybe due to overthinking about any problem
the face. This essay shall discuss the extent up to which this is true.
There are many
examples in our lives that may illustrate how we make things complex. Say for
example, an employee was supposed to submit a report to his boss which he
unfortunately couldn’t finish on time. Now, instead of accepting his mistake
and correcting it, he would probably lie and give an excuse – this he will have
to remember throughout for later, in case his boss refers to this situation in
the future. Thus, for a simple problem that could’ve been avoided, a
long-stretching complex solution was created.
Had the employee just
told the truth, the matter would’ve gotten over, and he wouldn’t have any
mental baggage to carry. This must be why people say that humans find complex
solutions even for plain situations. Therefore, it can be inferred that trying
to fabricate the truth and looking for a way out without having to face the
problems is what is making things difficult for us. Portraying things in an
unrealistic manner, be it in school, at work, regarding outer appearance makes
simple living problematic.
To sum up it all up,
I agree that humans overthink and create complex solutions out of simple issues
in life. Mainly if people start accepting things and consequences as they are,
they’d be able to live much happily.
