You have recently visited a local school in your community. It needs people who can help renovate the building and also help with some activities. Write a letter to the principal of the school and say:

·        how would you be able to help

·        when and why would you do it

·        who will help you to do it

Respected Mrs. Bhalla,

You might remember me from last week when I visited the community fun fair organized by your school. I am writing this letter in reference to our discussion regarding some parts of the school building needing renovation. I’d like to briefly outline a plan for you to consider.

First of all, as you had said that the school’s library was too small, I’d suggest expanding the area by merging the classroom beside it. I feel rather than shifting the library to another floor, expanding it at the same location would be easier and faster to accomplish. Secondly, about the walls of the classrooms looking grubby and stained, I think it has more to do with the quality of the paint used, which is why I suggest having them painted again with better quality paint. Both these things can be finished within 10 days, and we can start next Monday.

As you know, I’m into the real estate business, I know many contractors who would be ready to take upon this project at a very nominal cost. I can have a couple of quotations sent to you for choosing. Also, I spoke to some of your alumni and they have agreed to volunteer for helping in the renovation process.

Kindly let me know if you’d like to go ahead with these plans, or if you want to change anything. Navjeevan High School is one of the most prestigious schools in our city, and I’d be honoured to contribute in any way to help with the school’s projects.
