Letter # 25 - Your neighbours have recently written to you to complain about the noise from your house flat. Write a letter to your neighbours.
Hey guys!
I’m writing this letter along with
the mentions of how a Task 1 structure should be. I hope it clears a certain
amount of difficulty some of you may have in organizing your letter
effectively.

Letter # 25
Your neighbours have recently written
to you to complain about the noise from your house flat.
Write a letter to your neighbours. In
your letter,
- explain the reasons for the noise,
- apologise, and
- describe what action you will take.
Dear Philip, (Opening Salutation)
I’m writing this letter in response
to your complaint about the noise from my apartment. I’d like to formally
apologize for this inconvenience, and offer my justification for it. (Introduction
– It should clearly state the purpose of the letter, but should not be over
explanatory)
My sister, along with her children,
has come to stay with me for a week. The noise that you hear is of them playing
in my house in the afternoon. The two kids are very energetic and get excited
during their playtime. I’m sure you understand how kids can be. Nevertheless, I
humbly apologize for the disturbance they may have caused. (Body 1 – This
paragraph should include the 1st and 2nd task requirement of the question)
My sister and her kids are going to
leave on Sunday, and after that you’ll be having no such issues from my side.
However, since there are two more days to go for that, I shall try to make the
kids understand that they shouldn’t cause a ruckus while playing. I’ll also try
to take the kids out in the evening after I return from work. (Body 2 – This
paragraph should include the 3rd task requirement of the question)
I request you to kindly bear with
this situation for a couple of more days as my sister won’t be able to take the
kids out alone, and I’m at work during the afternoons when the kids play. I
apologize once again and appreciate your patience in this matter. (Conclusion –
This should wrap up the letter and tie up any loose ends. No new content should
be added here)
Regards, (Ending Salution)
Sandra. (Name)
