Talk about something that you borrowed from someone.

Answer:

I would like to talk about the time when I borrowed a piece of clothing from my friend (name). This was last year, I think in the month of November. The situation was that I had been invited to a party, and the theme of the party was to wear something in polka dots. I was actually in a fix at that time as I had nothing in my wardrobe with a polka dot pattern. I tried to find something in the stores near me but everything was either too expensive, or didn’t suit me that well. I had decided to give up and wear anything good from my wardrobe. A day before the party I met my friend and happened to tell him / her about my situation. To my wonder he / she told me that he / she had a blue shirt with white polka dots on it, and that I should borrow it. It was really unexpected and I was glad that I would not stand out at the party after all. I borrowed the shirt from him / her and wore it to the party the next evening. As both I and my friend have a similar body structure, the shirt fitted me well and looked nice with my dark blue jeans. I was really thankful to my friend that day for unexpectedly coming to my rescue like that in my time of need.
