Introduction

I have recently completed a Post Graduate Diploma in IT Management from West Alberta College. I was sent there by my organization as a part of the ‘Get A Diploma Program’ they conduct every year for their employees. In an unfortunate event, my certificate for the course has been misplaced. For that reason, I'm writing to request you to issue me another one.

Body Paragraph 1

I am assuming that I lost the certificate during my return journey. As there was a flight delay, I had visited the airport's café for a quick bite. I think, while picking up all my belongings, I might have dropped the folder that contained the certificate. To make matters worse, I realized that I didn't have it only after I had landed in my home country.

Body Paragraph 2

In regards to the course, it proved to be a gold mine for me. I learned various new aspects of Information Technology Management including team handling, project management, resource allocation, and planning. I had intended to submit the credentials of this course to apply for a promotion in my company. If I am not able to do so, my promotion could be put on hold, thereby posing as a significant hindrance to my professional growth. 

Body Paragraph 3

I am deeply remorseful for my carelessness, and I would be greatly obliged if you could mail me a duplicate copy of the diploma certificate. I have mentioned my address with this letter; in addition, I am ready to bear the transportation charges and any other official expense for the procedure.

Kindly let me know if there are any forms that I need to fill and submit to initiate the process from my end. I am hoping for the utmost support from you in this matter.
