You ordered an item on a company website, which should have been delivered the next day, but it never turned up. Write a letter to the manager and say-

- what was the item

- why it was important that you get it immediately

- what you suggest the company should do now

Dear Sir / Ma’am,

This letter is in regards to the non-delivery of a pair of headphones that I ordered from your site. I ordered that on 1^st June, 2016 and it is 8^th today, but I still haven’t got it.

The headphones I ordered were from MusicMania; the transaction number was PSX00154, and I bought them for Rs. 550. I had opted for the express delivery system wherein I was promised a next day delivery. It’s been a week now and the last notification I got from your end was that the order has been packed and dispatched. I was supposed to travel out of town alone on the 3^rd and I really needed the headphones for listening to music and watching a movie while travelling. Due to this delay of yours, I had to buy some cheap duplicate headphones to serve my purpose for the time being.

Unless my order has gotten lost in transit, I can’t think of a reason why it would take so much time for delivery. I expect you to look into the matter immediately. If I’m not going to be getting my headphones by the coming weekend, I expect you to send me a prompt refund.
