3. arrange something carefully into a particular shape or position

Eg.: The manager coaxed the employees into working overtime.
Eg.: My father was unable to coax out of me where I had been last night.

Eg.: Her hair was coaxed into pretty ringlets by the hair-stylist.
Eg.: The police were coaxing the people to talk more about the victim.
