Graph # 10 - Process diagram

A recently asked diagram in the Writing task of the IELTS academic test in Canada in March 2016, depicted the process of making recycled paper. The diagram had four steps: collection of recycling waste, making pulp, filtering and cleaning the pulp, recycled paper being rolled into rolls.

I haven't been able to find an exact graph like the one mentioned here, but I've attempted to write a similar report so as to give you a general idea of how should you guys approach it.

The given diagram illustrates the process of recycling old newspapers into new, reusable paper sheets. According to the given diagram, the process is a bit elaborate and takes quite some time.

Out of the stack of the old newspapers, tear the papers into small pieces and collect them in a vessel large enough to contain the paper bits. A measurement of 250ml is given here, for the water that needs to be added to the vessel containing the torn papers. After the water is added, the lump needs to sit for an hour. Once all the paper gets completely slushy, an electric mixer is used to blend the paper-water mixture uniformly for 45 seconds.

This mixture is now poured into a deep rectangular tray, with 100 ml more water added to it. This slush is evenly set in the tray by hands. This pulp is later on put onto a mesh, which strains the water down into the tray, leaving the pulpy mixture a bit dry than before. This flattened paper mixture is now pressed between two newspaper leaves, and flattened further with the help of a rolling pin. The pulp is then dried for 24 hours in the sun, and it becomes worthy of use by then.
