Dear Sir / Ma’am,

I am an employee of the Public Relations department of our company Florabay Pvt. Ltd. This letter is to draw your attention towards certain errors in the content of an article recently published in a business magazine regarding our company.

I am an avid reader of “Corporate Times”. The editorial piece I’m referring to is published in this month’s issue. The magazine has drawn out a list of top 15 companies of India ranked in order of their corporate social responsibility where we stand at 7^th. In the description they’ve mentioned a little bit about the time we were incorporated. The date of incorporation is incorrectly printed as 19th February 1980, and ‘not’ 1990 as should’ve been. Second, the details about our philanthropic achievements are somewhat incorrect. For instance, we won the Golden Glory award, not the Silver Shield, for our charitable services to the drought-hit regions in the state. I also feel it’d have been good if they had mentioned that the award was presented by our Prime Minister, which they haven’t done.

There are a lot many relevant things that should’ve been included along with the details they’ve imparted. Kindly allow me to contact them for authentication of the same. I’d also like to suggest to them to put in a correction note regarding these errors in the next month’s issue.

Kindly reply on what should be the best course of action.
