Your friend would like to visit your hometown. Write a letter to him/her and say

- What is the best time of the year to visit your hometown?
- Suggest some places to visit in your town.
- Invite your friend to meet your family.

Dear Raj,

I was so happy to get your letter last week, and even more happy to learn that you want to come to Ahmedabad! I am writing a few pointers in this letter that would help you make your travel plans in a better way.

I would like to advise you to come to Ahmedabad in winters only. Summer is horrible here and in monsoon you won’t be able to do many outdoor activities. Plus the temperatures in winters never become too freezing and the food in that season is also very assorted. Regarding the places to visit in my hometown, you will find a lot of culture and heritage in the monuments you see here. We have ancient stepwells, forts and relics of buildings of the 20^th century that you will find interesting. Apart from these, there are many modern attractions for you to visit, like malls and entertainment centres that are built with state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities.

Also, I’d love it if you would come and stay with me and my family, instead of staying in a hotel. It would mean a lot to me, and my parents are eager to meet you too after so long.
